Motor mounts???

Just pulled the 4.2L V6 out of my 77 CJ5 and am replacing with an AMC 360 V8. I am guessing I need different motor mounts??? This Jeep didn't come with the 360 so I am not sure which motor mounts I need and where I can get them. Same as the 304??? Thanks!

I like M.O.R.E. bombproof V8 motor mounts. I have used them in 3 swaps and been pleased with them.

Advance adapters has some as well that work well.

You can also use the motor side mounts from a 304 from a cj. The driver's side frame mount is the same between i6/v8, but you'll need to change the passenger side frame mount. The stock holes in the frame work fine for either mount.

Yes its a complete package. Bolts into all factory holes. No movement needed.

I am doing the same swap now in my 78 but I bought mine with no motor. I got some amc v8 frame mounts from somebody here on the board and bought the rubber part from one of the parts places. Works well!! Good luck am if you need anything pm me You're probably gonna run into some of the same issues as me along the way.
