Long story short, I've found a 1200CC Suzuki Bandit that is in rough shape for a cheap price. Thinking of swapping the 1200CC into my motorcycle (a 600 Bandit), and then using my 600CC engine/trans to put in my Joyner 650.
Reason I'm thinking of doing this is the Joyner engine needs to be rebuilt (was smoking pretty bad).
My question, the Bandit is chain drive, does anyone know of a good way that this could be made to work with 2 rear CV shafts? I guess I could make something for the CV's to attach to with a sproket for the chain, if it would fit in the space I have to put it in.
Maybe attach the diff gear out of the Joyner trans to some bearings, attach a sproket somehow, and run a short chain, gear reduction would have to be pretty significant to get the needed torque though.
Any other ideas? I know it's kind of oddball, just figured I'd throw it out there...
Thanks
