Mountain City from Knoxville

Anyone know the fastest way to get to mountain city from Knoxville? Its been 5-6 years since I have been and different maps are taking me several ways. Thanks

Easiest way is to go straight up 40 till its turns into 81 and keep going. Get off around exit 10 in Virginia and head towards Damascus and keep going. Its a longer route but only one turn really.

Quickest way is probably to get off 81 onto 26 at the 57 mile marker and go towards Elizabethton. Once in Elizabethton go towards Butler on 321 and continue on into Mountain City.

I used to work in Lansing, NC and have been both ways many times. I prefer the route through Elizabethton.

A few of them. :lol: None fixed enough to go wheeling....yet..very soon....I am consolidating and getting rid of a bunch of junk and I am gonna wheel the 80. Its at a buddies shop to be caged right now.
