A couple of us were thinking about heading up/over to Mountain City for some snow runs.

Anyone going that way on Saturday? Anyone interested? Neither of us have been before, so it always helps to have some guys with trail experience.

Either way, we were talking about going up Friday and spending the night, or heading out early Saturday morning (arriving around 10:30'sh) and wheeling the day.




Also.... anyone know if the snow is still pretty good?
 
A couple of us from Caroilna K-5 are goin up early sat morning, i've got a couple of 4-wheelers that are gonna ride around w/ us also. Were pretty experienced up there and know our way around pretty good. Your more than welcome to ride w/ us if you would like to. I'll be in a red K-5/S-10 hybrid truggy and i"ll also have a black exo-caged yota with me.

I called a local auto parts store up there and they said there was about 18 inches of snow, and the roads were pretty bad. Thats my concern is the roads up there, we've gotta trailer in. I'm hoping that they're in decent shape, i'm jazzed up about some snow wheeling and i'm ready to get back in the woods.
 
Sounds good. We may do that (meet up). I am trailering and my buddy is flat towing, so we will have to watch the road conditions as well.

Any idea on what time you guys are getting there?
 
Were hoping to be there by 9-or 9:30, if possible.
 
I just got a message from a buddy that drives a truck up thru va.,tn., nc.,ky area on a route and said that the roads are clear and the temps are supposed to be up in the 40's fri and sat up there and sunny. Yeehaw, lets get some wheeling done.
