Mounting air bumps to shocks?

I've seen a few guys mounting air bumps to the body of their air shocks. I'm working on a buggy that will have little room to mount air bumps so I'm thinking of going this route.
Anybody got any horror stories or problems with this set up?

We did this on Sam's buggy and he ran them HARD with no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to run them, especially if space is at a premium.

This was after months of riding, internals were fine.

mudpro had some of these made up with the right size DOM if you'd be interested in them as oppossed to buying more stock than you'd need for 4 they were simalar to the pic in the other post

Cool thing used to be mounting bumps to shocks. Now it's ORI's.
