Has anyone mounted the KC Daylighters on a tube steel bumper? My new Wrangler came with chrome tube steel front and rear bumpers, neither of which as light tabs. I need a creative solution for mounting lights. I could use the bumper mounting points, but that means I would have to lose the towing hooks. Any ideas would help.

Only thing I can recommend, is use relays..no help on mounting

But trust me use a relay you will not regret it...

If you're not too attached to the tube bumpers, I have front and rear bumpers I will sell for $20 for the pair. I don't think they have end caps, but they are in good condition. Much easier to mount lights to.

Yea I'm kind of attached to the chrome bumpers, seeing as they are only about 4 weeks old..

I think I may be able to use the tow hook mounting bolts to mount the lights.

drill a hole in the tube and use a nutsert

you could also go with the mirror or roof mounts

Make a tab out of .125 that bolts to the top of the tow hook using the same bolts. Have it extend behind the tow hook ~2" and drill a hole for the lights. Then you don't have to mess up your pretty bumper.

X2 what Braxton said. I wouldn't do the hinge mount, unless you enjoy staring at a glowing white hood when the lights are on.

fender mount

i mounted my daylighters on my front fenders drilled thru the top two holes 1 for the light 1 for the wire looks good and solid mount . i've cut my fenders like you see on tj's and i dont cut it no slack bouncin down the trail they have lasted thru 1 rollover(had to replace 1 light housing)but fender mount remains real sturdy
