does the orbital on a full hydo system have to mounted with all the fittings, hoses mounted on top,or can the orbital be turned sideways or up side down?

the orbital needs to be mounted at an angle I guess you would say, with the fittings on the bottom, because you have to be able to mount your steering column, if you mounted the orbital sideways that would make for an interesting steering wheel setup

sorry, i meant twist it.it will still be mounted with the steering colum splines facing the driver, but take the orbital and mount it with the lines on the bottom ?..im confusing myself..LOL

well you just answered my question, fittings on bottom.can it also be mounted with the fittings on the top?or on the sides(3oclock) (9 oclock)

If you mounted it at 3 or 9 the steering column would be in the wrong spot

As long as the column you have will mount with the steering wheel where you want it, it doesnt matter where, or how you mount the orbital, but most only mount one way, fittings going downward, with the steering column facing up, but it's angled

still got the motor?

who built it?

ok,i have a hose diagram from psc?and the orbital is mounted with the fittings(hoses)on top.i need more room due to dash,so i can mount it with the fittings down,
i still have the motor,if it doesnt sell by next week its going in my buggy.i hate to do it but hate to see it just sit there.

RACE-TECH out of denver built it(Eldie),this is one of 2 he has built for me,very good work.

yeah it doesnt matter where the fittings are on the orbital, most people mount them up to keep them out of the way

put the damn thing in the buggy, then sell the 39's and get some 44-49 inch tires so you cant atleast think about breaking a shaft or 2 in the rocks:flipoff2:

LOL..i cant afford to break too many things yet. with the stock 350 and 39s(all for now)hopefully wont break anything, this is a bigtime budget build.
