Get it figured out yet? Prob wouldn't hurt to put a pressure test on the fuel sys. I know you can rent them at a parts store for bout $100 deposit.

My Mustang had fuel issues. I bought one at O'Reilley's for around $40. It plugged right into the fuel rail schrader valve. I zip tied it in place to trouble shoot and just left it.
My problem ended up being a week fuel pump. It was coming on just wasn't pushing enough fuel.

x2 on the fuel pump-my yj pump worked great, just wouldnt push enough

there is a ground on the right side ( pass side ) near the back of the eng make sure it is hooked up if it is not it will turn over & not start if it is i would then check to see what the fusl psi is @

This. Dizzy controls fuel injector timing on a 4.0, ingition timing is done entirely by the ecm. If you replace it, turn it, or get it a little off, then the fun ensues. I dont recall the method to get it back correctly, but I do believe you will hafta cut a hole in the distrbutor cap.
