Moving to Goldsboro soon

Hey everyone! I just found out that I will be moving to Seymour-Johnson in the somewhat near future. I'm currently in Pensacola, FL where there is really no wheeling to be had. My Jeep and I are having withdrawals I believe. I have a 2000 TJ Sport with some small modifications, definitely a work in progress. Can't wait to get moved up to NC and get it dirty again!

Not sure yet, trying to figure that out still. I want to have easy access to Raleigh but also don't want a horrible commute. I was looking at Smithville but options for rental houses out there are limited. Plus being close to the Auto Hobby Shop on my days off is always a plus being a Jeep owner

you lookin a 25 mile commute one way if you get a place in Smithfield plus rent might be a little higher since that puts you closer to Raliegh. Are you bringin a family with ya? The housing on base is fairly new with the gov. replacing the older stuff over the last several years. If you have any questions on areas or need a "recon mission" done,I'll be happy to help ya out.

Thanks I really appreciate it! Its just myself and my wife who will also be active duty and hopefully get to be stationed at SJ. She is Force Support so her job is slightly more flexible than mine. To be honest, living on base is looking more and more promising. The new CGO housing was pretty sweet from what the pictures showed.
