With the wife and kids wanting to start trail riding more and my jeep only having one seat, we have a need for a family off-road rig. Picked up my grandmothers grand and here we go!

89,000 miles

We want a rig we can drive to Ure and enjoy the mild trails and drive home. We are going to do a 4" lift, Jk rubi take offs, xrc8 winch...
Dana 44 rear axle, upgraded tierod from Jody Treadway, ironman4x4 fab short arms with trackbar and one day his motor mounts. Going to move front springs to the rear and buy new ones for the front and a set of nice shocks. The wife will be driving this daily to carry the boys to school and run around....

Surprisingly have have gotten 18.1, 17.6, 17.8 mpg on the first three tanks...

Always a good idea for the wife to have her own. My problem is , my wife can out drive most people. You will be beating the crap out of your rig on an obstacle, she will drive up to you and around with kids in the Jeep. They wave as kid music just bebop's down the trail. Not many things more emasculating. This is a pic of her 95 YJ. She painted the cage pink after I kept breaking hers when mine was down for repairs.

Check out Kevin's off road for some good stuff. His brace under the radiator is a good idea. I put the Ac
cos threaded spring lifts on mine, liked them a lot.
