These things worth it? I keep thinking about simplifying the wiring under the hood while I'm in there doing the engine swap and these seem to be the best way to go about doing it.. but man they're expensive for what they are.

What are you controlling and what ampacity do you need?

Ive used these successfully...compact and din rail mountable...but only 10A.

I’ve got one on my XJ mounted under the hood controlling 3 10” fans, and 4 7” LED roof rack lights. It’s been pressure washed. Never once had an issue. It’s the high-current version.

My biggest gripe is the connections are not sealed. My bet is they will corrode eventually and be a royal pain in the ass to clean. They could have easily made it with a pigtail harness that used a deutsch or weatherpack connector for the I/O and a lug stud for the battery connection. At the time my employee cost was dirt cheap so it was an easy decision. Not sure I’d spend the $150 or whatever it is for retail.

If I did it again I would buy a nice sealed relay/fuse box instead and connect with deutsch connectors wherever needed.
