Thinking about heading to Mt City Saturday Morning
Can anyone tell me if there is enough snow to have any Left By Saturday--are will it all be melted away??

You can keep an eye on these webcams in Boone to get a pretty good idea of what's going on in Mt City. I might be up there Saturday as well.

The Boone webcams aren't that great of a gauge as to how things are in Mtn City. The slopes out toward the TN line and Mtn City area can get hammered pretty good and only have a few inches of snow in Boone.

Some of us are going Saturday afternoon to do a little trail riding. Probably get there about 12:30

Saturday

We have a group of five going up Saturday too, snow or no snow it is going to be a nice day, 65 degrees and sunny.

GSW, was suppossed to go with couple CTB. Dont know if he's still going, might check with him. I wasn't going, & now I volunteered to work. Making up for snow/ rain days. Have Fun!

Our group will be out there around 12:30 (Xtra Cab, Cherokar on 39's, Bronco on 37's and maybe a 4wheeler and Razr or 2.)

Went, had a great time. Still alot of snow for making everything slick. Only managed to get in Welder and Aurmorall but had a great time with minimal damage. one R&P and I managed to bend a leaf spring.

Some good trail riding with very little carnage. All the rigs either drove home or loaded back onto the trailer on their own. Graham's FSBronco blew a power steering hose as we got to ArmorAll, I crunched the Xtra Cab behind the passenger door on the ledge on ArmorAll and Sam's new fullwidths and 39's worked like a champ on the Cherosaurus.
