Anybody headed up this weekend?
 
Working all weekend. Might go later this week if I can get my junk to tolerate this cold.
 
Yeah we are planning on New Years as well. Pretty sure there will be snow then...
That is so much fun not to mention beautiful!!!
 
Small group of us going Monday (20th). Looks like there might be a decent amount of snow. Welcome to join us if you want.
 
We would love to go on the 1st, but I am sure we would be waaaaayyyy to hung over from the night before:bounce2:.


Anyone thinking about doing a snow run sometime between the 27th and 31st?
 
just so you know, its basically rain up here right now, muddy wet disgusting mess. Maybe not so much snow as mud mixed with snow.

that sucks.. i thought you guys had 12 inches up there in boone area... it that all gone?

Wheeling on the 31st?


Haven't been to Mtn City before- All of my snow runs have been between 9,000 and 13,000ft above sea level! Last run had wind gusts of nearly 100mph, about 40"s of snow pack, and temperatures in the single digits.
 
not going to make it... stomach bug has got me..
 
If there will actually be snow on the trails I would agure this would be one of the times it would be worth a trip out the Calla for any mild to moderate rig. Its a SLIM chance but I may actually pull some strings to make a 31st ride.
 
This isnt a BDB event or anything. Just something several of us have done for a few years now! Never a private ride. We have always had others joining us!


...and there better be snow!! LOL!:driver:
 
A few pics from Yesterday (Monday). 1-2 inches of snow down near the bottom, probably 6 or more going up the rut.

There should be snow on the trails for the 31st. Looks like they'll be getting snow from this friday through monday.... I would think that it will stick around for four days, especially in the woods.
