We had six rigs to roll out to Moab April 17th. After some carnage and lots and lots of good times we all made it home safely on April 27th. I have some videos I'll try to get posted when I get back from PA. My wife took around 600 pics alone on one camera, I'm sure our combined group took close to 1000. Here's a few to get the ball rolling.

My wife and I did an awesome hike in the devils garden area of Arches National Park. Wish we could have spent more time there and Canyonlands.

Did you lose the same tire twice?

Did you lose the same tire twice?
How bout 3x total, then a wheel bearing in middle of nowhere CO. It took us 37hrs to get out there driving straight through. Including a stop at a great tire shop in Albuquerque. Considering I like to get to my destination as quickly as possible with minimal stops, I was somewhat frustrated:kaioken: I'm leaving for PA in about 5hrs, by myself, with no trailer, I'm looking forward to it;)

What tire ended up working best on the rigs?

Suck.

Fun fact: The best microwave burrito I've ever eaten came from a gas station on a reservation on 550 just outside of ABQ. Must have been really hungry.

I paid attention to that and came to the conclusion that any tire other than a tractor tire will work well there with the right pressure. As long as there wasn't a heavy layer of dust on the rocks we mostly had our way with the lines we were picking. My .02

We stopped at a gas station In a small town we were passing through and there was a "native"lady at the end of the counter making fresh burritos out of a cooler. Mel couldn't stop staring as we were walking out of the store, she wanted one BAD but I wasn't waiting, my patience was long gone by that point, lol

I was waiting on I40 with my bags, you guys must have forgot me.
How hot was it during the day? I hope it was at least pretty miserable.
Sorry bro, saw a lot of bums that looked like you along the way:flipoff2: Could not have asked for better weather not too hot not too cool. I wasn't the only one that wheeled in flops.

Behind the rocks
Pritchett canyon(twice
Moab rim
Rusty nail
Gold bar rim
Golden spike
Brittany spears
Helldorado ( took six rigs up the waterfall w/o a winch
Green day
Random lines at BFE
Hells revenge
And I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something

Any tips for a first timer? I'll be out there Tuesday through Saturday the 10th. Will be in a double cab tacoma on 315s. locked f/r, (that doesn't mind body damage) Meeting up with a group of folks with Cj-8s I used to wheel with when I had mine. They are having their annual "scramble" event there this year.

I'm excited to say the least. Awesome pics!

A group of us from CTB are heading out on the 31st, gonna spend the first week of june there and absolutely cant wait!

Take more water than you think you'll need on the trails. Study your maps well before you hit the trails and take them with you. Air your tires down more than you normally would, it changes everything. Be sure to hit the sand dunes at the end of Pritchett I believe it was. The tire shop beside dollar general is good people. The Italian place in town is GOOD, can't recall the name but you'll smell it. Enjoyed good food and brews at Moab brewery. Went to some other places but they weren't anything special. Do your grocery shopping at City Market(Kroger) the other two stores were noticeably more expensive. Most importantly.....get your beer in nc, it's cheaper and has more alcohol in it;)

This thread needs more pictures.

I agree, I'm not the only one of us with pics:flipoff2: It'll be next wk before I get back to my laptop
Here's a few I have on my phone;
