I am looking for a place to have a NMRO style mud race. Needs to be a pretty big place 20+ acres. If anyone knows of a place or if you might be interested in having a race, I can help you get it organized. Please give me a call!

Thanks

Where is that at?

Im sure it is the usuall "hill and hole" race or deep bog.
What im talking about is like dirt drags. Just like the WVMRA http://www.wvmra.com and the NMRO http://www.nmro.net Most places do side by side drags for time. Texas does it the best...side by side heads up!

Just be nice to find a place to get it into the area.

This is 3 hours or so east of Charlotte. They have side by side and hills. I think there are 4 lanes total. The run rail car looking things as well as trucks on tractor tires.

http://www.ncmudracing.com/ was on a previous post, think this is what you're looking for,

and

call Galloway's in New London, the've got a mud truck they run sometimes that's quick (Nightshift).

If you're that dead serious, Concord Motorsports Park use'd to do them in the late 80's untill interest faded out. Maybe you could talk them into digging a new one, won't be easy.

I think the only NMRO track in NC is in Hubert NC just Southeast of Jacksonville. I've seen it on ESPN.
But you just can't beat the good ole Privately held redneck holes around here though. Chinquapen, Willow Spring, 5 county, Kenley. Taking up cash for an all female race through the track on a cold evening for the final extravaganza is priceless. I've witnessed that $500 is usually the majic number for women of higher standards to participate.
