Multi tool pouches

I use a multi tool and pocket knife every day for work. The tools are great, the pouch that came with it sucks. I need a new pouch. Would like to have one pouch for both but I need one at least for the multi tool. And it needs to be tough.

What do you guys use/recommend? Army surplus? Custom leather snap pouch? If you have a picture of the pouch you use, let's see it.

I have a 9mm mag pouch for mine. Carried a leatherman in it for a whole deployment and it is still going strong 9 years later. Ill see if I can find a brand name on it.

Bicycle inner tube. And have enough left over for ranger loops.
Cheap ... get many from one tube.

Find someone that does custom holsters and have them make you one for Christmas. You could make one from kydex but it would look pretty dumb comparatively. What multi tool do you use? The gerber sheaths are pretty nice IMO


:edit: That being said, if you're using a "multi tool" at work that often and already have to have pouches on your belt, use one of these instead...

A co worker does this. His is a 9m clip also. I have thought about going this route.

Yea mine is a Gerber knock off brand. It works pretty good. I looked at pouches like that but I like the military looking ones that are a bit smaller. Same idea though.

I have my Gerber multi tool in a 45 mag pouch. Works great.

Used the tractor supply version for years working in junkyards. Kept a pair of 10" knipex, knipex cobra pliers, flat and Phillips screw drivers in the big pouch. Super handy.

Adam's case could be done in Kydex.
In fact .... I have a found "old warhorse" Gerber I need a case for and I have a small sheet of Kydex laying around ..........
