nah. current day code its pretty common to have all GFI in a house on one or two circuits. More so if you use GFI breakers and not GFI outlets.Maybe I'm crazy but shouldn't all of these be on different circuits? Unless a lot of bootyfab wiring has been done, an outside socket would not be on the same circuit as a bathroom, which would also be different from a kitchen.
@Cherokeekid88 have you ever taken the time to map out the circuits to know what is on each one? That is a pretty simple procedure that doesn't require the chance of killing yourself, and would be informative in a situation like this.
I must have had the same electrician wire my house 30 years ago. GFCI outlet in my garage protects both small bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) and front and back porches. Basically all four sides of the house. Took me forever and a day to find the tripped GFCI outlet.OK, So I feel like an idiot. I thought the only GFCI outlet in the house was in the kitchen, but I checked in the garage and there is one in there as well. I reset it and checked all the outlets and everything works now!
Seems like the last couple of times this has happened, I've always been able to reset the CGFI in the kitchen, but not this time...
