Music from Ipod to itunes. And computer ??

So my computer finally died. It was 5 years old and well abused. I went and bought a new one and I want to put the music that is on my ipod into itunes on the new computer. (It's mostly all from CD and I really don't want to have to reload every cd onto this machine.) Is there a way to do this?

And on another computer note... How the hell do I change the mouse settings on windows 7? every time I rest my hand on the mousing surface while typing it moves the friggin pointer like I clicked so I end up typing in the middle of a word previously typed, screwing it up royally!!! The mouse section in the control panel is worthless.
 
Check out Winamp - I am pretty sure you can do that with it - I know I did it one time for the same reason...

The Control Pad is usually somewhere in the Control Panel - just turn the pad off...
 
Best software I've found to get stuff off an iPod onto a desktop is CopyTrans.
