How did you restore it? Mine is painted and I'm trying to take it back to factory

easy off oven cleaner heres a pictures of it took about 6 cans of it tools needed is a plastic putty knife tooth brush toilet brush let it sit 30 mintes to and hour and start scrabbling and scraping it off and wear gloves this stuff will eat your skin up it took me going over it and spraying the dash 3 to 4 times before it came this clean and i just took the water hose to it to rinse it off each time if you have a radio take it out and put something over the gauge lens i had to order new gauge lens cause this stuff makes them get a fog on them that won't come off
