so i bought this 93 yj April 24th 2015 and i have been doing a little work on it and driveing it also i am going to slowly make this into the nicest yj i have seen i may also do a v8 or cummins swap later on when the 4.0L gives up its a 4.0L auto trans with 154k

Restoring the dash to the factory color someone has spray painted the whole thing i want to have the driver seat recovered next

How did you restore it? Mine is painted and I'm trying to take it back to factory

easy off oven cleaner heres a pictures of it took about 6 cans of it tools needed is a plastic putty knife tooth brush toilet brush let it sit 30 mintes to and hour and start scrabbling and scraping it off and wear gloves this stuff will eat your skin up it took me going over it and spraying the dash 3 to 4 times before it came this clean and i just took the water hose to it to rinse it off each time if you have a radio take it out and put something over the gauge lens i had to order new gauge lens cause this stuff makes them get a fog on them that won't come off

new gauge lens put in and are way clearer then the old once new radio done to pictures so you can see it done

got the hood vent/ air scoop on and got the new console set in the jeep not mounted or anything yet

well i picked up the top trying to find some full doors that are the same color as the jeep before i put it on i also found a driver seat on ebay the seller said was in good shape well it got here and the back was broke had to pice it together with the bottom of the seat i got off ebay and used the back off my seat that was in the jeep. im also trying to sell my soft top and all hardwear and my half hard doors

found some Sahara doors in green with spice door panels so looks like doors will have to be painted when i come up with the money will post pictures when they get here.
 
here's the latest up date sold the 2 piece top was more treble then it was good so sold it got a really nice factory top and have been daily driving the jeep a week to 2 weeks now

Well about 3weeks to a month ago brake system went out pretty much right after I got it running again so it's parked for now but I got my Black Friday deal so frist parts ordered OMIX-ADA 16737.50 Brake Line Set for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ. Now to save up for the rest of em
 
Don't u love when people lie when I bought the jeep I bought it without going to look at it frist and guy told me it had no rust I got their and know it had rust but I still bought it and now that I took the shit off the side the rust is way worse then I thought it was

Well it’s been one thing after another with this thing fanly got all parts to put it back on the road it will be going to shop next week and going thro a devorice don’t help eather
