well i traded my samurai for a cherokee cause i need a lottle more room.

got it thursday and so far iv put nuts on the tranny mount cause there was none. and cut off the bars that were around the jeep.

i still gotta get shocks for the front and new springs for the rear. and get the roof rack off.

this is what it looked like when i got it

those bars were welded to the fenders and quarters all the way around

and with all the bars torched off.

i still got alot of work to do. the wiring is a mess and i still gotta finish cleaning up the fenders and quarters

but its a start.

yea it was thin plexi glass and it was broken and tinted. i couldnt see out of it to back up so it had to go.

i think i might cut the quarters up some more tomorrow. if i can cut them enogh to get the up travel i want im gonna drop about 2.5-3 inches of lift to get the cog down. but not sure i want to do it yet.

Glad it's being put to work! I don't really see you being able to cut the rear quarters up anymore than they are. What size tires are you running and are the sway bars disconnected? I assume they are. May need to go down a tire size or so if you want more articulation.

jeep

the tires are 36-12.50-15
and the comp cut is what i wanna do but i wanna go just a little further up and i wanna go all the way to the edge of the door. ( i know i will have to rebuild inner fenders but thats no a problem)

and as for the roof rack i didnt like that it mounted on top of the rails on the stock rack.

my buddys dad is down there so if you can get the address to me quick i can get him to swing by becouse it is a 2 hour drive for me but his dad is down there now until later tonight our sunday morning.
