I put a 96 Explorer 8.8 in my 99 Wrangler about 4 months ago, everything seemed fine. I went to URE last weekend, now when I back up and turn the drivers side of my axle makes a clunk. I dont notice it any issues any other time.......where to start???
Thanks

Coming from the front or the back axle? 5spd?

Definatly ask this question on as many forums as possible, that should probably fix the problem

or...

How about grabbing the driveshaft and trying to twist it to check the u joints and pinion, and then i would removed the diff cover to look at spider gears. Or first jack the wheels up and try to move them to see if there's any play in the bearings

Sometimes the questions on here boggle my mind

How many forums should I post on to make it be fixed funny guy???? I will check the u-joints/drive shaft for play
It is the rear axle that is popping.
If it was u-joints, shouldnt I get something going forward and reverse? I have a feeling its probably the stock LSD carrier, but wanted other opinions before I go digging too far.
Thanks

spider gearss

Clips have spun on??? elaberate please...the cluthces in the limited slip? I have pulled the carrier before, but i'm not exactly familiar with everything.
Thanks

Loosk like its the bushings in my stock trac bar...ordered new RE adjustable trac bar.
