I'm normally horrible with pictures so I'll see how this goes.
This is my 3rd jeep now, first wrangler. The plan is for this to be a fun jeep to drive on the weekends and hit some mild trails. Ive already got a XJ that's my trailer Queen so this should stay fairly stock.
I saw a forsale add for a rusted out wrangler about a month ago for a decent price, i hooked the trailer up and picked it up the next day.
The rust was bad enough to warrant it getting a salvage title and insurance claim.
First step was to get some rims and tires, picked up some steelies and 33 general grabber ATs. Then I decided stock height and 33s wouldn't work with the stock fenders so I got some BTF diy fenders and welded them up. I bought a rampage framless soft top and a few other tiny things.
A company called Safe T Cap makes some nifty replacement pieces for rusted out frame rails. Just cut out the rusty bits and the new frame rails slide right over. Pretty cool.
New floorboards are in the mail as of today so hopefully those will be in by the end of the week.
I don't plan on it being a crazy build so I won't go too into detail unless people request it.
