On August 21, 2017 I will make the sun disappear in the middle of the day, unless my demands for 1 billion dollars are met. I will only do it temporarily to let you know I am serious-but the next time it will be permanent.

So, seriously...who has plans to go watch the Great Eclipse?? Just a few more weeks....

Guess it depends on where I have to go to see it.:D

Im taking the day off and going kayaking. My goal is to be far away from civilization. Im hoping the fishing will be good. Luckily im pretty much in the path and wont have to travel.

My dad reserved a bunch of hotels in Crossville, TN (of all oddball places) for the whole family to get together reunion style and watch it.
I don't know WTF we're doing to pass the time.

I've heard that being out deep in the woods is best, b/c you can hear nature change in response.

I'm off, but the wife is working. I'd love to go see it but not sure if I will. Definitely be a side of the road deal if I do it.

I'm thinking about taking the day and going for a hike with the kids to watch it somewhere up on a mountain. Wife's working.

Or maybe take the day off and work on my rig and just take few to watch it.
