My Dog doesn't like cats...

Actually she thinks cats are plotting to kill us all.

My girlfriend has a cat and I'm usually pretty good about breaking dogs from bad habits but I've yet to tackle this problem. I guess the problem starts at home when my neighbors free roaming cat rubs up against my fence and shakes her butt trying to annoy her, which works quite well.

When I take her to my GFs house, her cat hides in the cabinets and all around the house were Riley can't get to her. This past christmas it was like the scene from National Lampoons Christmas vacation going after the cat, knocking over the christmas tree, lamps and chairs.

It's becoming a problem and just wanted to hear if anyone had any ideas on how to make them just get along?

Rub the cat down with beer stew gravy. The dog will love the cat:lol:
 
lock them both in a decent sized carrier together and let them work it out.

When we got our dog, I would bring him inside on a leash. He'd take off after the cat and I'd jerk the leash. After awhile, I would take him off the leash and if he went after the cat, he'd get thrown outside for awhile. Now he and the cat get along. In fact, now the cat sometimes tries to start something just to get the dog banished outside!
