didnt think it was worthy enough to put in build up thread so i will show it off here...
well heres my FIRST set of axles to replace my stock set on my TJ. the front is a HP D30 from an 99 XJ. it came with 4.56 gears, chromoly shafts, and lock-rite locker. the rear is a D44 from an 87 XJ. it also came with 4.56 gears and aussie locker but the chromoly shafts not installed yet. lucky for me the front is a direct bolt in to the TJ but needs some minor repairs. upper control arm bushings are pretty worn, the pinion seal need to be replaced and a nice lube change. the rear D44 on the other hand needs lots of love. i have ROB92XJ helping me out with the technical portion of this build. i traded him some tires and cash in exchange of some of his sweat. i have no idea how to weld so thats where he steps in to place on the new brackets. also having him put in the shafts and he was also nice enough to offer to do a disc break conversion too! heres what i have for now but ill be updating as soon as the work progresses.
