Looking to find more pics and vids of my flop. I was busy with the recovery and laughing about it so I didn't get too many. There were several guys out there taking pics and vids. Surely, they were all fellow nc4x4ers!

Thanks! My dog bit his tongue a bit and my friend got the crap scared out of her. It was her first time wheeling.. Ooops! :p

hey man, thats bad ass,You know the windshield thats bad ass!!!

Badass! Is jonnyb still saying it? :huggy:

cool! You meant to do that, right? lol

I so meant to do that! :p I knew better, but my right foot gets the best of me. In hindsight, I really should have just stopped trying to get off the rock when my longarm hung. I had a passenger and my dog with me. Had either of them been harmed I would have felt extremely horrible. I can't lie and say it wasn't fun because I had a blast flopping on the side. I was smiling all the way over, but when seeing the look on Kristy's face and my dog bleeding I got a little worried. So from here on out I'll take it easy when not by myself or with experienced riders. :)

He's been waiting to have a flop story.....

You know you've been dying to fix more jeep damage! We gotta fix that windshield or maybe it's time to chop the top and cage it. My left LCA mount has broken away from the axle as well. We'll need a BFH and some ghetto welds to put it back in place until I can get some new tabs. I still plan to take it to the farm next weekend so we just gotta make it hold together until then. After the farm we'll fix it right. I promise not to take it any easier on the jeep though!

thats badass hahaha!I will load up some pics and the video of us kicking out the windshield in the morning!

Just like all the other carnage, it will be fixed and wheeled again. I think I'm gonna install a brake pedal where the gas pedal is. That way there will be no more skinny pedal!:flipoff2:

I just realized that the farm event isn't for two weekends. UGH! God I was looking forward to that. Now I gotta wait longer....Hmm..perhaps we can get the shaggin' wagon running by then????? :D

Well get some parts and let's get to toolin, it would be nice to make use of the beast.

I `unno man... we really gotta get your runner going too. I feel bad for working on my junk all the time and not getting anything done on yours.

Get with MudPro about the d-30 lca brackets. He does em' right and is a local made in USA company and is a great guy. (Ssills) I just did some extreme ECORS R&D on the first set(I think) and they're great.

You run Harlan with no problems and now this? :flipoff2:

Putting glass back in or cutting it up?

lol well I guess I tend to get a little complacent while at URE. I've never broken anything major at URE nor had any probs with any trails. Guess I got careless. Was fun though!

How'd the work go at the shop today? I was preoccupied with work around the house and trying to keep things civil with the wife so I couldn't come out and help.

Nice job man, can't wait to see a video of it.

Hahahah definitely a big fail. We were done with posing and I was just playing around acting like I was going to go over the rock. Set my skid plates on top of it and when I tried to back off I got hung up on the driver side long arm. Right foot got the best of me and spun the rear sideways. Not a real good way to be hung up on that rock. I tried to back out of the flop but the jeep was still hung on the rock. By the time it was freed it was way too late so I just rode it down smiling. :D

wow, that's all I can say. I still think my flop story is better though. :p

I mean, really, how do you flop a Toyota truck on flat land, flip it back over, add half a quart of oil, and then drive it 3 hours back home...and then continue to drive it almost daily for the remainder of the time you own it? oh I know, I know, because it's a Toyota! haha. glad you're alright though for sure.

you had to add oil? I flipped the jeep back over and cranked it up and drove away. :flipoff2:

I have almost went over on that rock a couple times, and thought to my self "this would be a embarrassing way to have my first flop happin"
Glad everyone was ok

You know, I always thought it'd be embarrassing to flop there too. Honestly though, it wasn't embarrassing at all. It was probably one of the better times I've had at URE.
