i figured its about time to post a few pics of the girlfriend's truck, now that it is starting to look like something

this has been a budget build, using some parts that ive been collecting over the past couple years, and of course, some parts weve bought for the truck, but we have about $2000 invested by my best estimate, including purchase price of the truck.

still have a few things to finish up, like rear shock mounts, fixing the rear pinion angle, building a traction bar, and getting some brake lights, but most of the $$$ stuff is done

a couple specs,
swapped in a scout d44 rear i had laying around, and a 99 cherokee d30, for the non-disco and bigger joints, these changed the gearing from 3.07 to a slightly lower 3.55, which honestly doesnt feel that bad with the 5 speed and 33s

its got a springover rear, and a peiced together front lift of about 6 inches using rubicon express uppers, adjustable lowers(tera i think?) unknown sagged out 4 inch coils and spacers

Looks good, man! Finally put that 44 to use - love it!

Looks good with the tires and wheels. Now get that stuff out of the back and let's see the true ride height.

yeah, we'll see, with the welded rear axle, the thing torques up and down and the ride height changes by a couple inches anyway depending on how you park it

im afraid im going to have to lower it in the rear when i get that junk out, but those springs are already really soft, so even after i build a traction bar, im kind of wary about just pulling leafs to lower it, so we'll see

Are you running different bolt patterns on front and rear? If not how did you do it.

im running wheel adaptors in the rear to widen the axle to match the front, and at the same time, change the pattern, so they are both 5x4.5

Hey Ex CCS racer. You might have more luck getting rid of your XJ if you take down the pics of you thrashin it out ^

sweet mj...i saw one in chaleston that looked just like it but it had tsls on it....those trucks are sick.
