Wow, where'd all these folks from Sanford come from.

Purty jeep. Bring it by sometime.

We came from Sanford...weve been here a while but have been quiet. Currently the Jeep is not running and has a lot to be done yet but feel free to come by my house anytime and check it out and give me some pointers. oh thanks BIGDADDY for giving some info

Do the rear springs separate from the upper mount, and are the rear shocks crossed at the top?

control arms are made of 1 1/4 with a .312 wall thickness and are using cromoly 3/4x 3/4 heims and yes the rear spring does seperate from upper mount. Shocks cross at top to have all the length as possible. I am thinking about cutting off the dildo looking thing and going with a floating spring or making something to keep spring atatched. here is another pic so you can see it seperated. Lemme know whatcha think

I started this project but lost my lease and moved it to a friends shop. Buddy & Derrick get all the credit for all the cage and suspension. Im well satisfied

Yea''' this is a new one to the stables. Still got the Burbn , just sitting with a broke t-case

Looks nice, hope your links hold up, mine are 2" .385 wall and one has a slight bend to it. The original 1 3/4" .250 wall links on mine bent pretty fast.

bent links

how did they bend? was it axial compression force looking for somewhere to go, or was it lateral force from rocks underneath? I definitely dont beat on my rig like you guys do, but have never dreamed of bending one (yet). Mine are just 1.5" x 0.25" DOM and they seem pretty frigging stout. I dont use heims, just over strapped bushing ends. Could they be taking some shock load out?

He just hits them into rocks......alot. I thought the 2 inch would not bend, I was wrong.
