Me and some friends did something similar off a busy road in Kernersville for several years. First year we had about 3 cars that looked like they were road worthy all mangled up with a smoke machine in the middle with some road flares to make it look like fire. We were told to take it down within 30 minutes of dark because of excessive 911 calls. Next year we had more cars and more crape like fake bodies but we put up several signs in each direction saying Not Real and still had 911 calls. We made the paper and news every time. We had to stop when scrap metal prices went up and cheap junkers became extinct.
