Went to URE Monday for labor day came out with:
-2 stripped tcase xmember bolts
- Bent draglink
-Messed up the 4wd shifter linkage when the 2 xmember bolts came out
- And all at the same time I bent the lip of my rim which caused the tire to loose the bead and broke an axle shaft.

Only pic I got after we swapped tires and tried to ease down to a spot to turn around.

Maybe I can get John to post some of his damage to the tail light area of his rig.

you got to be easy on that thing man it aint no Sammi!!!!!!!
Yeah that's the truth, a yota truck when I was 16, a ramcharger and 2 samis combined never broke this much. Haha! But it is a lot better to dd the jeep then it was the ramcharger or the samis.

Yeah that's one of the tires but its really not bald, but I had my ssr on when the shaft broke we had already swapped it for the spare since the ssr went flat and we were trying to get to the trailhead. Don't think there's gonna be much special for the real axle just have to get another shaft would like to upgrade to discs though, but y'all will like the xmember I have in mind.

Ok went to URE last weekend and tried out a few new improvements from the last trip when it broke.
First up was getting rid of the tcase drop so in went an sye from advance adapters and a stock xj front driveshaft recomissioned for the rear.

Then it was time to make a little more belly clearance than the stock xmember could offer.
Here's the stocker:

Then here's a pic of the bottom part that I cut out:

I then welded a peice of 1/4" plate to the bottom to make it strong and rigid. Here's a pic comparing a stock xmember to my new "high clearance" xmember. Lol. But with ditching the tcase drop and my mod to the xmember I gained 2" of clearance under the rig.

I also got a new to me 8.25 rear axle and I've always been annoyed at the bottom of the diff how it has that big lip to catch on rocks or on the ground or roots etc... So I made a skid for it and cut the lip off the bottom of the diff, this only gave me 3/4" more clearance but more important now the diff will just hit and slide over the rocks instead of digging into them.

There's several things I wanted to do but ran out of time like a skid to protect the tcase and the trans pan and some sliders, but I will get there. Didn't break anything this trip so its back onto my sami project just wanted to post my progress, hope y'all enjoy.
