Mountains around Flagstaff, AZ

We made it to milemarker 132 in AZ where we had to finally stop, the centersection of the clutch gave out, we drove probably 10 miles on I40 at less than 30 MPH before we found a good spot to pull off the highway and wait for a tow truck. I had pulled off the highway once soon after it gave way, but we decided to try again to see if we could get farther (we hoped letting it cool might help it out some, it didn't). My insurance company paid to tow the truck to Kingman, AZ, where a guy off Pirate let us use his concrete pad outside his shop, he also came and hauled the trailer to his shop, about 160 mile round trip. Thanks Larry!! Luckily, the NAPA in Kingman had a clutch and flywheel, it took us 4 hours on Sunday to install it.

We also went part ways up Sledgehammer on the dirtbike and Ben's ATV, Chris went all the way up in his buggy.

I think it was Tuesday, Ben and I parked and climbed up the mountain near Backdoor (the backside of the mountain), some nice views for sure. We wanted to hike to the top to get pictures of Hammertown, but it was ALOT farther than it looked from where we parked...

That is a plane WAY out on the lakebed (below)

I had already climbed down the mountain a ways when I took this pic, the dirtbike/ATV were blocked when we were farther up.

Ben smoked too many cigarette's over the week, he was a little farther behind...

Chocolate Thunder on qualifying day, qualifying was rather boring, even the 'happy hour' when all the big names came though wasn't great, but was worth watching I guess. We watched happy hour on both days, but only about 1 hour otherwise, riding around was more fun than qualifying.
