Brand new Scion xB, Release 4.0 which is a numbered series, mine badged as #1469 of 2500 released in USA. Color is Torched Penny, which changes color depending on the angle, sunlight, etc.

Only options I put on was the sunroof and XM Radio. The aero pkg, etc was part of the Release 4.0 edition.

Got 30.6 mpg on the first tank thru it!! So literally double the Excursion, and gas is 10-20 cents cheaper per gallon too so will cut my fuel costs in half.

Toyota engines, etc without the 'yota cost, I think the stock with 5spds are 15,500 and 16,600 for auto - "no negotiation" pricing. Comes with all the options in that, a/c, pw, pdl, etc... was the best bang for the buck I found out there for this kinda room! :)

My high school auto tech teacher bought one of those right before I graduated and with such a low roof line when standing outside of it (and I am only 5'7") it is incredibly roomy inside. I felt like there was some trick where I sunk down into the concrete when I sat in it.

Where are you buying fuel? I've been getting Diesel for $2.78 and cheapo unleaded was $3.05...doesn't really matter as long as you're saving some coin.

the place I was buying diesel was running 10-20 cents over regular for almost the entire time I had the Excursion.

In fact it was just about the time that I bought it/got it on the road that diesel started costing more. Dad was telling me now that I sold it they flipped flopped, so I guess they found out I didn't own one now.

So, based on that "evidence" I guess I was to blame for the last 2.5 years of diesel prices! :)

Trade in sucked on my wifes XA. She had every option except for the neon. Cost her around 25k. traded it a year later and they only gave us 12k for it. I ended up rolling over 10k for her Jeep. I like the XB better though.

We cannot ALL have the "flames" right on our car(fj)! :flipoff2:

Trade ins always screw ya 10x over especially if you have a bunch of 'extras' just like selling a jeep. You can usually buy a used stock for nearly the same thing as one someone spent $3-4k on lifts, tires, etc. They lose the cash on their upgrades too.
 
LOL....Rich does have gay flames on his jeep! :D
