Well new to me at least! Just picked her up today, can't wait to get out and do some wheeling once URE opens back up this spring.

96 Discovery I
2 owners (well 3 now I guess)
140k
serviced since 79k at Discovery Automotive in Raleigh
Maintenance records since new
4" Lift with OME Shocks
Steering stabilizer
BFG all terrain tires
Disco II headlights
HELLA 500 driving lights

**and no the oil spot underneath is not from the Land Rover :wink:

if that oil spot isnt from the rover....get it checked out, i think according my owners manual atleast, there should be a minimum of a 4 inch oil spot.

I had it checked out by discovery automotive in Raleigh and all is good.
 
nice rig. been looking for one in that good of a shape....but have a hard time.

Id love to find a 96 like that....lifted, clean, not beat to hell.

When they were sold new at the dealer they offered 30% off certian items in the parts department to the new owners, items like T-shirts, hats, picnic baskets, and oil dry.
 
i wouldnt mind having a 95 or 96 disco. i think i'd need a 4bt swap though.
 
My friend has one and it leaks far more than my 87 toyota pick up
 
if you get a LR thats not leaking then its out of fluid,
i have had about 10 of those 1 didn't leak
