My son was riding his four wheeler tonight and fell off the side and tried to catch himself and I thought he dis located his elbow but after xrays its broken and he is going to have surgury in the am. He is doing good now in a sling and seems ok but I hate it for him wish I could trade places with him.

Man that sucks. I hope he does good w/ surgery.
I wish you would post some pics up that would get Mason my 5 yr old convinced he needs to wear his elbow pads no matter how uncomfortable they are.

I built him a table top jump over the weekend that is about eight feet on the flat part which is huge for a 5yr old riding an xr 50. First time he hit it he looked like a professional up one side and landing perfect on the other side. I was so proud. Next day he was showing off to his mom and was over jumping it about the tenth time it went to tank slapping and it rolled his little butt. Thought he'd broken his shoulder for a while but in the end he got back on it. Hate your situation didn't turn out the same but I'm sure I'll be in your position soon enough.

He will be 6 next month. He has been riding for about a year and I've taken him to ure to ride etc and this is his first time getting hurt. I hate it. It sucks that there is nothing I can do and to see him in pain.

Man sorry to hear. Unfortunately injuries are just part of the game with dirt bikes and fourwheelers. Back in the day I took almost every one of my riding buddies to the Emergency room at least once. I even took a few guys I didn't know.

All went great it lined back up and has 2 pins will have a cast about 4 weeks and he will be back to normal. Just sucks we are leaving for disney in 2 weeks but life goes on.

he'll always remember going to Disney w/ a broke arm. In two weeks he should be pretty use to the cast and the pain should be minimal. I'm sure he will have a good time either way.

Glad he did well.

Got a pic of it before they put his hard cast on this was a week after the surgury and you can see the two pins in it too. He is doing great running around playing and says he can't even tell its broke.
