hm... lets see here. finishing up the doubler (aka installing it in the truck), putting manny vb and gate shifter in, making custom center consol to house gate shifter and switch panel, bucket seats so i can fit a center consol, inboarding rear springs, disk braking and regearing the 14bolt to match the 60, cleaning up the 14bolt while im back there, then moving to the D60, cleaning it up, hydro assist steering, gotta hack the crap outa my front clip in order to make tires work because the axle is so far forward. some how come up with the money for tires. and then all the small stuff that goes along with all those things.
all that around schooland work... and i can get pretty lazy at times. 6 months seems reasonable in my time frame.

looking good mike, i think a doubler is in my future. truck i just bought has a 203, so i just need you source a 205 and a few other parts and ill be rollin. i dont know how you can handle going that long with out a truck. it kills me to not have mine for a weekend!

i was going to take a poser shot of the doubler assembled on my work bench... but the 205 is damn heavy and i already somehow managed to get it out of my truck and on the table myself, i was tired of heavy loads.

im going to paint the 205 orange as well, i just couldnt leave them not painted! haha.

i got the 203 in a little bit ago, but i think im going to have clearance problems with the 205 and the front gas tank... i know i can just remove it and use the rear tank but im trying to stick with twin tanks

cleaning the 205 was probably the hardest part of the whole doubler process. it also took a little longer cause i got slack. but i am very glad i did it, now i have a clean t-case instead of a greasy grimey blob with some t-case hidden in it. also now that it is all said and done except for bolting the shifters to it, i must say i am very glad i went with ORD. I KNOW i could have done it cheaper with other brands, but as i stated earlier the "kit" concept of ORD's made it better for my personal preferances. now for a sunny day to bolt it in and install the manual VB and i am done with my tranny and tcase!! next its off to the 14bolt!!

lookin good, maybe someday you will even drive it :)

Mike.....don't mind Metto...I know that old trick...one of the oldest in the book.
Paint your tools so that you know they're yours :p

You're just to damn effecient for the board...getting two paint jobs done with once pass....genius, pure genius :flipoff2:

well after summer school, 50 hours of work a week, and being out of town i finally got some stuff done on my 14 bolt.

i totally disassembled the axle, taking off the drums, axle shafts and gears.

then ground off the spring perches and the bottom lip off the diff

to end the day i took the wire wheel to the whole axle housing, bolted on my new diff cover and disk brake brackets and sprayed on two coats of rust preventative paint and two coats of gloss black

now all i have to do is wait for my 5.13s and ill be done with the 14bolt hopefully for a long time.

*im not too sure how to make the images smaller using
, if i remember correctly it can be done by just typing in the demensions you want?*

mike when you get that done come to the playground with it. if you need some help, PM me, im free most sunday afternoons

current state of affairs

Soooo im really slow at this whole "building" thing. Between work and school time is an issue, but whatever im going at a good enough pace for my liking. Anyway here are some pics

the 302 and all the acc. on it are leaving for a built, propaned 351 and I just installed the bucket seats today. the gears for the 14 bolt are here just gotta put it together and put some suspension on the truck so that it will be on all fours again. Im getting there, slowly but surely!
