well all problems and speculations aside....the fact still remains that there is now a bigger gap in the charlotte area for 4x4 work and fabrication...regardless of the reason no limit moved or how they treated anybody....there has to be a shop that can pick up the work that was left.....IMO carolinatruggies in indian trail has been doing a pretty darn good job with work and is on the raise in the offroad market for this area. They aren't all that well known yet, but there is a good handful of people that would send you there for quality work....I for one have my rig being built there and Alex does a real good job of working with the customers and making sure they get what they want. He is a top notch fabricatior, knows his stuff well, and won't try to play you. He does it right the first time and stands behind his work if a mistake was made. If you need chasiss built, axles swapped, or simply builder parts...he's your guy. Plus he is a dealer for some of the best off road parts on the market. Thats my 2 cents
I never dealt with NO limit so i can't personally attest to their work or skills, but I can't say that i've heard a lot of good comments made about them. They didn't seem to keep enough work here and I know they've had some issues with the strength of their work. (For example, I heard a rear axle dropped out of a jeep on the dirt road up to the URE trails after they linked the rear....ripped right off the frame by the brackets)
