What backspacing range do i need to keep a 33x12.50 from rubbing with a 4" sus lift in a 80 cj-7. Any personal experience?

depends on if you use a 8" wide or 10" wide wheel

with 8" wheels you should be fine w/ std. bs on most any after market wheel that wide would be 3.75", the 12.5 wont balloon out as much like w/ a10". if they rub front springs at full turn just adjust the stops out,or get some wheel spacers frt. & rr and widen your narrow track out 2.5 "for more stability
