So if I read this right, NC's biggest export is "Civilian aircraft, engines, and parts", over tobacco by a wide margin?
Wouldn't have thought that.

I know of some people that run a small sawmill in Statesville that said almost all the lumber in this state goes to the coast to be shipped to China. While our construction has taken a dive they are thriving!

I'm not that familiar with illegal substances, but there's really that much being produced here? I would think that would be more of a west coast thing or very rural areas that could do so in secret. This has intrigued me, I'll have to look for articles about this, if there are any.

I'm trying to find a new career that would actually stimulate the econmy... I'm a project manager for a construction subcontractor. We all know how promising the future is for construction. I'm looking for leads now so I'm not in the dark in the later. any Ideas?
