NC law on Fuel Cells?

I'm thinking of stretching THE HEEP 5" in the rear and getting a fuel cell to put behind the rear seat...

My question is... Is a fuel cell behind the rear seat legal in NC and will I still be able to drive THE HEEP on the road and get an inspection?

I don't know what the law is, but I do know I never had any issue passing inspection with a fuel cell behind the rear seat in my CJ

their is no law on fuel cell's that im aware of. however their are laws for the evap system so you may want to plumb that back to the fuel cell.
