NC no longer a democracy

Neither is the US, it's more of an oligarchy.

We were never a democracy. We are (were?) a Constitutional Republic.

Reading that article, it's very bias and misleading. It's saying it's wrong that some candidates run unopposed.... then who's stepping up from that district and running? This is what I don't get about most people in my generation, they fail actually provide a solution and handle problems at the lowest level possible before blowing it way out of proportion and trying to get bandwagon support.

The second reason they mislead very bad. It's referring to illegal aliens not being able to vote because of voter IDs, but making it sound like a race issue, when it is an immigration issue.

The third reason I don't know what all they were pushing for, but after watching the Cooper and McCrory debate and how Cooper was completely ignoring the fact the flood was going on and saying that rainy day fund was pointless being there. If I has anything to do with securing those funds for victims of the floods/hurricane then these people really are ignorant.

And I'm not a diehard republican I just believe in conservative spending and I like how McCrory handled the flood from the perception my hometown new stations interviews gave.

I actually showed my ID this time and the lady got PISSED. so I whipped out my CCW and she REALLY got pissed. so I laid out my DL, hunting license, CCW and work ID and she even got more pissed. I like doing that.

I had to show an ID to buy a gift card to Longhorn Steakhouse today, but we wouldn't want just ANYONE to be able to get those.
 
SC is still a democracy I guess. Not sure how I feel about that.
 
I made sure to show my ID when I went to vote and it seemed to aggravate the worker at the poles. I am all for an ID to be required to vote in any election.

That's the first thing they ask me.The lady acroos from me was sent back to her car to get her liscense because she came in w/o any ID.
