Hey guys I am looking to just ride some simple trails and have a nice day out. I see Brown Mtn as an option but was wondering if there was anything else? I also see the farm but it does not appear to be open all the time. Also I am in Hickory, looking to head out on Tuesdays and Sundays
Stock 97 Pathfinder.

Thanks
James

besides 31in tires my 4runner is pretty much stock and it does pretty well at Uwharrie. only done Daniel once and It was a nightmare... wouldn't recommend it for stock vehicles but most the other trails are fine if you careful and drive smart

I did a few trails at Uwharrie in a stock XJ last year. Had to take all the cutoffs, but it was still a good time. Just air down your tires and take it slow, and go with someone who knows the trails.

(I would recommend an engine/trans skid plate, to keep from tearing anything up on all of the terraces at Uwharrie, and some front tow hooks, just in case you get stuck)

There's a place just west of Boiling Springs off of Cliffside Rd called Lake Houser Adventures. It's a pay-to-play outfit.

I have spent a lot of time at Lake Houser. It is mostly 4wheeler trails but one of my friends and I have squeezed yotas down most of the trails. Nothing super difficult but a fun day. Stay away from the mud!!! All of it is deep.
