years ago on an older phone I had a NC4x4 'app' loaded. guess I need help locating it again, as for the life of me I cant find it. or was it just a link etc?

Tapatalk is an app for forums in general. Download it and search for NC4x4 and login. I rarely use it because I prefer the mobile site but it’s really good for uploading lots of pics easily.

Does TAT resize pics automatically?

It pops up when you upload and gives you 3 size options and has one that says “best” so I always choose that one.

The nc4x4 server should resize your photos automatically. Let me know if that's not the case.

Well I wanted to know if it resized on the client side to save on data/upload time. Presently I do it by hand.
