Soo..before we start the big planning session..who all would be interested in a official NC4X4 meet-n-race at The Pit in Mooresville NC?

If we have enough REAL interest..we can rent the PIT on a weekday/night for as little as 45 per head(if you wanna race)
It will cost more if we choose a weekend.(will work on pricing for non racers that are interested in hanging out and having a great time)

Lots of details to iron out, if the nc4x4 go kart meet-n-race becomes a reality, so lets just see who would be interested.

We dont have a date yet, but I have already had conversations with the owner of the Pit and he is excited to work out a deal with us...NC4X4!
 
Any idea how much more it would cost for the weekend? Could maybe do it early afternoon on a weekend, will be less busy than the nights so should be a better rate.

On the weeknights the issue will be getting everyone to travel, it is about 70 miles from us, so probably a good deal further for alot of others. Makes it hard on a worknight during the week. Might be easier to figure out some sort of flat rate with the owner, would come out cheaper for us as a group I am sure.

Very interested though.
 
Would be interested to know what weekend rates would be. It would be hard for people not fairly close to make a weeknight.
 
The more folks from hnc4x4 that attend, the cheaper it will be, weekend or weekday!





We could do a weeknd/ morning or what ever..just cost a little more, and I am sure it would attract more folks(hopefully)
We will need some sort of RSVP deal. We dont wanna do this, then have nobody show up.

Lets see who all is even interested. Obviously, not everyone can attend, but hopefully ALMOST everyone can!

I have some plans in my head, that will hopefully make it a ''DONT MISS'' event.

Thats what Im saying, but how much would it cost on the weekends? Any chance for a group rate, $45 bucks is his normal rate per person for that kind of event. If this is going to be as large of an event as I hope, would make sense he give us a discount.

So if 20 people come, 45 per person, if 50 people come... 35? and so on? What kind of pricing is he willing to work with us, would be good to know in advance.
 
That would be good to know in advance,BUT, when I go to Don for further negotiations, it will be most helpful to know about how many folks are interested.

Remember..we are renting out the entire facility, so his normal ''public'' dollars will not be there, so...

who all is interested..thats the first step. I have already got the ball rolling with Don..and I am sure that when he sees I am serious about bringing NC4X4 to the PIT, he will be willing to accomodate further negotiations.

Time allotment..If we bring 20 folks at 45 per head, our time for having the facilities to ourselves will be less. He would close the public out for an hour or two..but thats all.

I am hoping to have the place for 6 hours or more..depending on how many of you folks wanna actually race the carts.

For the kart racer.. You get a practice session, a qualifying session, and a real race.
Now if 100 people show up and want to race..we need more time. We'll get more time if that many folks show up. Just takes some planning.

I think we need to figure out how to do this on a weekend, though. Maybe kick it off mid-morning on a Saturday, clear out by mid-afternoon. That way he can still run regular business hours after we leave.

It is an expensive day. But I guess comparing it to the day I broke my rear diff in Uwharrie, it is not so bad. That cost me about $850 in parts to fix. (snake is enjoying that labor now)

I vote for a weekend and the guys from this area could head that way, Get a price for non racers also.

Weeknights would be a no go for us due to travel and kids in school, But a weekend would work.

Great Idea guys, I would love to attend with the Wife and Kids,

My four year old says he has something for you on the race track Dylan, the kid can drive :driver:

You're right, it's too far to travel to kick our arses, but it aint to far to come and have a good time, meet some more folks while I whip everybody arses..l:driver:

just come on..we need all the nc4x4 folks we can get. Wouldnt it be cool if at least 1/5 of the nc4x4 crowd was there?
