Doing a 4.0swap out of a 93xj into a 87 YJ and harness is little hot mess under the hood and in the cab lol.
Anyone have 91-95 xj I would love some pictures of engine harness of grounds and alternator area and fuse box area please. I've got most things hooked up but there's some stuff that I just can't pinpoint right now. Thanks a lot

I've got that exact swap sitting in my driveway. I have the 93 xj fsm and also Mitchell for any other year. I'll pull it up later I would reuse the yj bulkhead & most the yj sensors so you don't need to change the gauges. Speedometer may be an issue if you're going automatic trans. I can reprogram 95 stock computers and can modify 91-94 to be programmable if you need a computer you can't find. I've got a couple manual ecms laying around.

Thanks dude. There's mainly some loose wires coming off the 93xj harness that I'm not sure about.

maybe I'm overthinking this but I'm all wired out hahaha,
this YJ swap I'm doing is almost done. since the 95 XJ had AW4 but now that motor and harness in the 87 YJ has the AX5, the harness plug for the NSS on the AW4 is supposed to be bypassed?? the nss complete's the ground on the auto which sends the signal to the starter feed for solenoid so I need to do something to this correct??
I'm not getting power to the starter switch but everything else is getting its power so the NSS has to be it I'm thinking, unless I'm overthinking something here.
thank you

Yes you can just connect the park/neutral wires together. You may need the manual ecu if it doesn't idle right.

That said, I've run manual ecus in an auto and vice versa.

I've got my laptop now if you still need diagrams
