need a 7.3 engine swapped

i have an 01 f250 that has a bad motor. i am getting a used motor in a couple days and i need them swapped out. i need someone who is knowledgable about this procedure and can guarantee a good job at a fair price. the new engine is a complete engine. please let me know when and how much you could do this for.

From my limited knowledge about working on them it's a 12-16 hour job. You have to remove the cab, might as well replace the turbo soft hoses, ect. The best person I know of is John Morefeild in Doe Valley TN (outside mountain city). That's what he specializes in is Ford diesels. Hotrod Diesel (423)727-2728
 
no cab removal needed that i know of. you might be thinking of a 6.0 or 6.4. i will pull the grill and radiator and come through the front. i decided to do it myself. went and bought the engine myself yesterday. will be doing the swap starting tuesday. hope it works out

Your right, no cab removal. Pretty easy job you should be fine!

i hope so. looks like very minimal electronics. im swapping my alt, starter, a/c comp. ebpv,,blah blah blah. should take first day to pull old out and swap stuff over and then 2nd day to re-install. hope it goes that easy. using a friends shop in mt pleasant if anyone wants to stop in and say hi]
