I'm not sure which code is right on this axle, but I have C30255 as well as 335-69. I am trying to find out what year axle this is.. I don't know if the 69 means, it was made in 69... is there any site to look this info up? Thanks

Yeah, I actually noticed that today. Those were the numbers on the centersection, I can't find any other numbers on there, they may be covered in paint. I'll have to wire brush it this week. Thanks!

Don't know what axle you are working with but here's two pics I took a few years ago of where the BOM is stamped on a D30 and D35.

Alright, So I found the BOM today, it was stamped twice on the tube next to the pumpkin but it says 610040. There is not an axle on dana's site that matches, It looks almost exactly like my other hp44 from an f250, it has 4.10 gears but the hubs are the only things that are different.. any ideas?

Google. Looks like a 78 F250 d44 with high pinion and 3.54. drivetrainsuperstores is suppose to have a BOM tool too.

My bad. Actually just the 6 digits is not enough to know what the ratio is. A 610040-2 must be 3.54. 4.10 might be 610040-4. I can't remember if the dash numbers are on the tubes but I don't think they are.
