So it is time to put a new clutch in my junk. Question is do I go OEM, stage 1, stage 2 ? What is your thoughts on this? ??

Specs: 86 SAS 4runner 488 front and rear, locked with a dual case. Stock toyota axles, stock engine

I like stock I got mine off ebay for like 100 bucks shipped be carful to make sure you get the right baring there are several

Stock from a reputable manufacturer.

Rockauto had the whole Luk clutch kit and flywheel for the Jeep pretty cheap.

I have the Heavy Duty 1,600lb clutch kit from Marlin Crawler. I have been running it for about a year and a half, very happy with it. I have 5.29 gears, stock axles/dual cases, locked and locked so similar setup. The clutch pedal feels near stock but I definitely feel the increase in the grip.

I have a orielly lifetime in mine lots of broken parts. I have a 22r w56 duals 4.10s and 38s

Centerforce with the weights on the pressure plate. I've been running the same pressure plate and disc since 05 in my yj with a stroker. Put 60k miles on it with 36's andsince 09 it's had 1 tons and 42's and has been beat on. Last time I had it out it was about half done. The more rpm the more holding power. Works great, costs more, but couldn't be any happier not having to replace it in almost 10 years.
