Im looking for a full width dana 60 to convert my 2004 f350 to a dually. If anybody knows where I can find a used axle or a junk yard that would have a donor I would appreciate the info. Thanks!! I know they make kits but I don't trust spacers in the rear because of the weight I will be hauling.

Couldn't you also use a DRW sterling? Seems like that would be easier and cheaper or are you referring to the front axle?

Thatll probably be a dana 80 instead of a sterling, the one in my truck is a 80.You better be sitting down when you call.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If you can find that axle there, then your p a p's are a lot better than ours.

If you're searching specific, there's not a such thing as a 60 drw rear that I'm aware of? Only Dana's set up for drw for a rear is 70 and 80 for 60's are only 30 spline. Just fyi And there's like 3 different widths for DRW as well. DRW gets complicated sometimes and wouldn't want you to get wrong one forking out 1400. LOL

If sterling is what your after, you need to go for 10.5 and not 10.25 unless it's been upgraded with 10.5 internals.

Where is "gas house" location? And what axle ratio you looking for? I will have a cab and chassis DRW D70 for sale soon (when weather permits wrenching outside without gloves and a face mask LOL) after I do a swap. It'll have 4.56's open all said and done. Very reasonable price though when time comes. PM for more info if interested.
