need a tow

I know it's a long shot, and I am going with or without my xj, But...anyone want to tow my jeep to MT. city this weekend?

I am in Mocksville, so anyone In winston,Greensboro etc. I could meet in Yadkinville at 421.

I am without a tow rig at the moment, so if you have one, and wanna go, I do have a trailer.Lets wheel! Just need a tow!

Like I said..I am going either way but it would be cool to take my jeep!:rolleyes:
 
Good luck on getting a tow, Dylan. We were going to the Toy Run, but my other half just confessed to me that she would really like to spend a quiet, peaceful day just riding around the trails at Uwharrie. Truthfully, that didn't sound too bad to me either, so if the rain doesn't drown us out we will probably be there on Saturday. Too hot for camping yet, but a one-day ride will work just fine. Again, good luck on the tow thing! :)
 
Yeah, Thanks Don. Doubt I find a tow on such short notice, but I will be ok. I have some business up there anyways!

Dylan - can't you tow with the Lester Molseter van?
 
Have fun at the toy run. I was going to go when I had a friend offering to tow my truck up, but he canceled out so I will be stuck at home. Maybe we need to start a local 4x4 towing service/thread. Say you pay for gas or at least half of gas, and people post up that would be willing to tow you up. I can dream right? :driver:

Na..v6, but it does fine on flat roads. The big hill will be to much on it.

I'm sure there are times that would work great...I just gotta get another tow rig.
 
Has anyone checked into local rentals? U-haul, Ryder, or similar?
Two people going in halves, getting a box truck, heavy enough to tow, with sleeping quarters too?
