Need advice on body mounts

I am replacing half the body mounts on my CJ and was thinking of using hockey pucks from Dicks sporting goods for 2 bucks a pop . I have heard of alot of people doing this and wanted to know if its a bad idea .

They do that, as a replacement lift block. Kinda like a home made body lift. You will still need an actual mount. If your only replacing a few, you want to use a stock rubber mount.
